The Beat: Drummers Gone Wild In The Bible Belt includes interviews with various musicians as well as drum circle attendees that attended the "Rainbow City" event held at the Caddo Common Park in Shreveport, La. This documentary explores the diverse individuals attracted to drumming. 


Although drum circles and drum gathering have been prevalent throughout the USA since the late 1960's , drum circles are quite new to North Louisiana which incidentally is called " The Belt Buckle of the Bible Belt."  Since 1997, Ron Hardy has been instrumental in bringing the the BEAT to all in hearing distance.
